Driver behaviour in terms of fitness and health, driver responsibilities for vehicle and load safety and the safety of other road users form a key part of the course and help drivers meet the challenges provided by their working environment – the Urban Roadspace
Van Smart is a Transport for London (TfL) backed driver training programme that aims to reduce work related road risks, improve safety and create long-term behavioural change in the van sector.
Van Smart is delivered in two sections, a classroom theory module and a practical cycling module, where van drivers experience a cyclist’s view of the road. The two modules are delivered on the same day, and courses can be delivered either at one of our training venues or at you premises – subject to suitability for both classroom and cycle training. This training is DCPC accredited.
